"This is not my Ball"

I was enjoying a great day off playing golf at La Costa Champions Course. I was playing with my wife and longtime friends Perry & Janice Harbin when we reached the 3rd hole, a short par 3, 160 yards. The hole was surrounded by bunkers and we could only see the top of flag. Perry hit first and hit it straight towards the pin, I stepped up with my seven iron and hit it on the green. When we got to the green I only saw one ball, Perry walked straight to the hole and pulled out a Titleist #2, he was so excited to get his first hole in one. We congratulated him, took pictures and were all elated for his great achievement. I proceeded to putt and as I approached my second putt I looked down on the ball and the next five words would change that moment forever. I looked at Perry and said: “This is not my ball”, we realized we were both playing Titleist #2 however this one had Perry’s name on it. It was at that moment I realized that I got my first hole in one!!!!
