If you are generating enough club head speed with your current hybrids you will be fine with the 915s. The secret to hitting great hybrids is smooth swing. Cannot over power a hybrid. The 18* has a lot of pop to it and I chose the Aldila Rogue Black 85 stiff shaft. It is a strong club, but please see a fitter. At 68 and club head speed of 93 I carry three hybrids. Titleist, of course.

One key difference is the 21 at 20.25 will be a relative more open club face than the 19 at 19.75. You might find it harder to square. I have a 21F 910 and demoed a 21H 915, and it is (now) as long as the 7W but much easier to hit. I have 24/27H 913's. I can't say the 21 is easier to hit than the 913s, but I've never hit a hybrid as far as the 7W - until now. For the ease of hitting, the 910F is now broken. I've tried several 19H's in the past, and I just don't do better than with a FW. You may have the same problem with the 2H. Even if the 20/20.25 is as long as the 19/19.75, what would you gain, unless the dispersion is tighter?

My concern is the 19* 3H vs. the new 21* 3H. I really like my 913H which I have set at 19.75*. Would it make sense to switch to a 21* and deloft it to 20.25? Would I get the same distance with the same contact, or should I expect more or less length? My 913H is one of my favorite clubs in the bag. Normally, I go by the mantra "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." But, I have heard so much positive buzz about the new 915 hybrids that I really want to try one out. Has anyone else switched from the 913H 19*/3H to 915H 21*/3H? If so, what have you noticed concerning the distance between the two. The other consideration is to go with the new 18*/2H offering, however, my concern is that I will need more swing speed to take full advantage of the lower loft. My driver SS is 92-94, and I get nice distance out of my present 913H. I would hate to switch to an 18 degree for more distance and find out I can't generate enough speed. That's why I switched from a 15* 3W to a 16.5* 4W a few years ago. Any thoughts?

Bill, Just a quick note, be careful when you are choosing lofts if you go with the 915. I had to go up in loft to keep my distance the same as the 915 did prove to be longer. I felt like the added height and loft was a benefit to be able to hit the same distance making the change worthwhile. Good luck! Addam

Thanks for the feedback. I was convinced the 913s would do the job however I continue to hear the 915s are a big improvement. I've hit my pro's 913s and loved them, good news is he just got the 915 demos. I think I'll be hitting them this weekend. Then I'll look at the money side of it.

As someone who has both the 913's and 915's, I think the 915's are a 100% improvement from the 913's. I can't miss the 915 if I try. The comparison truly is a knife on warm butter. The turf interaction is amazing and the trajectory is piercing. In my opinion, if you have the $$, make the switch. You will be glad you did.

(IF) All else is equal and the money is important, the 913s will be fine as a direct 4/3 iron replacements - as they were last summer. Big assumption - the rack shaft fits your swing. If you can look at both in a fitting you can decide if the performance difference is important for the upcharge.

I have both in my bag. The 915 has a little more POP and distance. I bought the 18*. The first day I hit it on the course it went it 215 yards. I'm 68 years old and very proud of that distance.
