On Father's Day, June 17, 2012, I was playing in a foursome consisting of myself, Michael Foret, along with Denise Foret (wife) John Szostak Sr. and his son John Szostak Jr at the United States Air Force Academy Eisenhower Golf Club - Silver Course. On the third hole, a par 3, 152 yards, I chose a 5 iron to hit. It was a perfect swing, the ball hit the green, took one bounce and went in the hole. The green is a elevated green, so all four us saw the shot when it was hit, landed and disappeared into the cup. My playing partners were going "nuts", I was at that moment calm and thought to myself, "my god, I have just made a hole in one." When we got to the green, my ball wasn't on the green, so I peeked in the cup, and there was a Titleist DT Solo staring up at me. My wife had her cellphone with her and took the attached picture with me holding the flag and the Titleist golf ball. It was a tremendous thrill that I will treasure forever. Thanks Titleist for helping make my dream come true. A great way to celebrate Father's Day.
