I was just finishing 9 holes with my dad, Wesley, on a beautiful Sacramento afternoon at Cordova Golf Course when we reached hole 8. I chose a six iron for a 159 yard par 3 and stepped up to tee off while my dad chatted with the marshal. I hit a slight draw that looked like it was heading straight for the hole. None of us could see if it went in, but the marshal said "either that's in or off the green." I thought nothing of it, figuring I had hit it too hard, but when we walked up to the green, I saw nothing behind the green or on it. Finally, I peered over the edge of the cup and saw my Titleist 2 DT Carry sitting at the bottom of the cup. Best early Christmas present ever!
