My brother, Sonny Kissell, had his first hole-in-one on December 20, 2011. He is 74 years old, he is the third member of our family to get an ace. Out mother was first at age 71 on Aug. 5, 1986. I was second at age 41, exactly a year to the date our mother had her's Aug. 5, 1987. We have been taking Sonny golfing every Aug. 5 since, but no luck. It finally happened last Tuesday. I didn't mention it and he never does either, but he has been blind in one since he was 19 years old, but he doesn't let it hold him back.
