    If you care at all about how you play, stay away from used golf balls.

    My Golf Spy has done research and proven that used golf balls are not worth it.

    Take them to the range and let them swing away and have fun. You could also play a late twilight golf and let them putt and chip. Gage their interest and find a beginner/junior clinic.
