I also have a 909 D2 with the Made for Titleist Matrix Ozik Xcon 5 shaft, which is a pretty soft shaft. I got a new 910 D3 wtih the Fubuki Alpha 60 R flex, and it is awesome! Feels maybe just very slightly stronger than the Matrix but it fits my swing…

Your handicap doesn't have anything to do with counting putts, the two are separate. When your ball is on putting green, you should count the number of strokes it takes to get the ball in the hole.
