I have hit the mb712 and the cb712 and they are both excellent irons,They look basically the same at address. If you feel confident in your ball striking you should definitely go with the cb or mb, and also the Titleist ap2 712's are great.

I could see the reason for concern but i think the bigger question is are you hitting them just fine. I would say if your hitting them well then there is no need to worrie about it.
