    I chip a lot off a mat in my backyard as well. I have a mat that has 2 different grass lengths and chip balls off both sides. I have noticed that my short game is better as a result of the consistency of my practice.

    Your fitting should be right on track. Even if the clubs have not released, the fitter will have the new clubs. Titleist changes clubs every other year for the irons. So the driver and fairway woods are on the the other year from the iron.

    I pre ordered mine during a recent fitting. I received a email saying that it was inprogress. The club where I am a member received several GT drivers and fairway clubs. It is alot better playing on the course that fitting. I can"t wait!!!

    I would say you should go through an authorized fitter and retailer next time. If you do not the specifics of what you are ordering you may get it wrong. IMHO
