I just tested the new prototype balls this weekend. I really loved the new ball. It was a 48 degree day, but this ball still flew pretty far, especially hitting short irons. It felt like it had the nice soft feel (maybe slightly harder) of the ProV1 but…
I just took my test balls out to the course. They seemed to react like the Prov1x but with a little more spin on full iron shots and a little less distance on the irons. Spin around the green didn't seem to be very good, but the ball rolled great off…
And the cover, it didn't wing-up like the older ones with my Vokey wedge. Love a longer lasting ball that's longer!
With all of this, why in the world would Rory switch!!!!!!!!!!
