Recently had a ball fitting at a Vokey Wedge fitting. After hitting a few with the ball I normally play. We had me try another ball without telling me what it was. & the results were undeniable. I’ve definitely been playing the wrong ball. I have been out six times since & have been closer to more pins than I have combined in the last three years combined lol.

Just goes to prove that fittings do work. Even if it turns out to be a ball fitting on top of your wedge fitting. Congrats. This should bring that handicap down. A dollar well spent.

They’re hard to get but I’ve played all my career low rounds with a left dot.

each of us have different requirements of how we want the ball to perform, go farther, spin more...
at the end of the day, great balls from Titleist give us the consistency of the ball to react the same each time we strike the ball.

People will say all the time it dosnt matter what ball they use an i have seen it time and time again that there are so many characteristics on how a ball performs.

They do have a point. Not a good one. Most moderate swing golfers won’t see much difference off of driver. Go to a range and see how much time they spend on short strokes versus long irons and driver. Nothing like the pros.
Not being a great player Ian serious about my short game. I expect a pitch will go far and will rollout on a level green. I could never do that playing a Top Flight one hole, a Kirkland on the next hole followed by a DTC ball next not knowing if it was urethane or ionomer wold not get me the results I expect.
MyGolfSpy just released their new ball survey. As an example, Tour Response and TP5 only have in common is the same OEM.
