Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with paint chips on the Driver Crown/Face ? I just bought this GT2 in May, and I dont usually hit driver when I play my club here in Milton. I am a 5 wood type of guy, get it in play but keep the driver in case I need to try to get one out there, or heavy wind so need to lower ball spin. Anyways, I went to the range to work on my drive and after a few swings with Wilson range balls, I noticed a paint chip on the crown as shown in the image. I am very meticulous with my clubs, always keep the head covers on, always in mint condition for resell value, and I am absolutely devastated to see this happen to my new and expensive driver. I have owned dozens of drivers over the years, hit thousands of range balls and I have never had this happen or any paint chip... I really think this is a defect but Titleist is claiming it can't be warranted. Just wondering your thoughts and maybe offer any advise on if there are even repair options if my attempts for a second opinion within Titleist is unsuccessful.
