I was on a launch monitor with a 909 d2 9.5* with a blueboard 65s. my launch angle was 13, my spin rate was 3400rpm, clubhead speed was 117-122. Would a 909 d3 9.5* with a Whiteboard 83x be a better fit for me? The Diamana and the titleist head was by far the straightest combo I hit.

I thought the BB was a lower launching shaft than the WB.  I would try a lower lofted head and maybe some different shafts.  Hit as many as you can and keep an open mind on the shaft.  You may find that a shaft you haven't even considered is the right one for you.  At the end of the day though it's about feel and putting the ball in the fairway.  No lauch monitor can do that for you.  Good Luck.

PS...As far as you are probably hitting it, you may want to get fit for wedges...

Try the 8.5 and the Voodo shaft... you will love it...

The voodoo shaft was the worst shaft for me. the spin rate was 3800 and i hit it all over the map. The Diamana was the only shaft that i felt like i had any control over.

The D3 with the Whiteboard would be a low launch low spin machine.  I would try to find a fitter that has a whiteboard in the cart before spending the money on it and it not working out.  I know several places around me including my place have upgraded SureFit systems with the Whiteboard in it.  You might try to contact your local rep and check with him

  6. Hi Taylor -

Have been able to locate a Titleist fitter near you that was able to help resolve your questions?  I noticed  your ball speed numbers were not posted here.  Ball speed will play a major role in what spin rate will optimize your carry distance.

Team Titleist would be happy to discuss your fitting needs in greater detail.  Please contact us at the number below if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
