It's finally time to put the ego aside and get a proper fitting with proper gapping. I have a '23 T100 7 iron that I built and have been using at the range. I can hit it pretty well most days but probably need more forgiveness.

So the fitting is $100 and it is applied to the purchase?

Let's say I get fit for irons/wedges and pay $100 - I could buy one wedge and pay the difference of $79 + tax.

Now let's say I go back and get fit for driver, could I do the same thing on another wedge?

I work at a golf course and get a discount so will use that on the big ticket items. My course does not host any demo/fitting days.

My guess is the credit is only applied to clubs you are fit for that day purchased through the shop sponsoring that fitting.
Spending the certified fitter’s time to fit you for a driver and not buying the driver would forfeit the earnest money. No different than if you wanted to buy 2 dozen Pro-V balls in lieu of a club.
Fitted for 3 wedges and buying one is a little more gray but could pass. Same with not ordering a full set of irons recommended. Still guessing, though.
