  1. Hi Team Titleist,

Just want to give my praise to the trufeel golf ball. It’s like a cheat code for certain courses when I need a ball that flies a little higher.

Just wondering if anybody has a favourite Titleist ball, and why?

See it is your first post. Welcome to Team titleist. Hope your journey is a great one.

I have played the Prov1 for many years. It is an all round great performing golf ball, which I can rely on it with every shot.

I would guess that most of us, being TT members have a favorite Titleist ball. Mine is the ProV1x. I do not loose very many therefore the investment on high end balls is worth it to have the best performance for my game.

Used to be the ProV1x but recently started playing the left dash. It's a rocket off the tee, and definitely a firmer ball. First time I hit it, from the noise it makes I thought I broke my driver. But then I remembered at my age the only thing I can break is wind.

I will go between the Prov1 and Trufeel. Depending on the course I'm playing. For a budget ball I think it performs pretty well. But to pick a favorite it would be the Prov1!
  6. One day i hope to be able to distinguish difference between a good and a not so good ball.

First box of balls i bought was a trufeel thouguh solely based on price…

I played Pro V1 and 1x for a long time. Switched to Tour Soft about a year ago to play a lower compression ball with my slower swing speed. Found the TS does travel a bit farther than the premium balls, especially on approach shots (more because of roll than carry). Problem is they do not hold the green as well. Experimenting with the TruFeel this past month or so and have found they hold the greens better than other lower compression balls (though not as well as the 1 or 1x). Overall, though, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by their performance. I have found that “ball snobs” might look at you rather condescendingly when they see what you are playing, so there is that. Cheers.
