How come there is no longer an option for 9 woods? I've played one multiple times and really liked it. I'm not quite as comfortable with hybrids of the same loft. I wonder if there will be a made to order possibility because I'd like to have one that matches my set.

I play a 9-wood because I just cannot learn to hit a hybrid reliably. After a decade-long struggle feeling obligated to carry a hybrid because so many others do, I am at piece hitting reliably towering 9-wood shots for soft landings on — or near :( — greens.

These days, you can find a new one if you do a bit of looking.

Have you tried the new 816 hybrids.  The H1s are pretty sweet and much easier to hit.  Waiting on my 816H1 to come in any day now.  I noticed on your profile that you play the Hd series of hybrids which require more skill, in my opinion.  I play the H series and love them.  Might be worth a try.  Just food for thought.

I know that cally makes 7, 9 & 11 woods though some may come in women's flex.

I meant to add that this is a Titleist site! With respect. :-)

Of course. I tried to be sensitive to this when I posted yesterday.

Beyond this, as a relative newbie posting here, I have two questions for the moderator. First, when I re-read my post yesterday, I was embarrassed that I'd written "I'm at piece hitting...." When I looked for an "edit" option, I couldn't find one. Am I missing something?

Second, there is a cherished photo of my old golf bag sitting on a nice 9-holer in the Adirondack Mountains. While the photo appears full well in My Profile, it doesn't appear with my posts. Again, am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help. I enjoy your site very much.

I agree with Chuck about the new H1 & H2.  With my recent fitting, I ended up with a 7 Wood and have been hitting it great.

maybe that would be a club to consider.
