Not sure on the combo but I just replaced my AP1S with the new T-MBs 4 thru PW. Love the added distance and workability they give me. Even in a senior swing like mine. (67) years young.

Have you hit the 716 ap2's yet? Way more forgiving than the 714's imo. I demoed the 714 ap1 and ap2's last year and couldn't hit the ap2's consistently at all. Got fitted for and ordered a set of the 716 ap2's 4-Gw with kbs tour shafts a couple weeks ago. After hitting them for the first time yesterday I do not regret that decision for a second. I guess it's all personal preference, but the ap1's just looked a little too clunky to me at address. Nothing feels better than a pure strike of a forged iron imo.

I'm actually planning on AP1s for the 4-5 and AP2s the rest of the way down. It's still up in the air but thats likely the route I will take.

I have only hit the 714 which when hit flush is amazing but was difficult in the long irons, but 7-w I think I could do without the extra head size. I have never owned forged irons so I am sincerely considering the 716 ap2's. On other forum reviews the ap2's are also longer than previous models

I absolutely love the look of the 716 cb's but scarred a about forgiveness.
