  1. Hi TT I am thinking of of Aerotech Steelfiber fc80 Reg shafts for my AP2’s Does anyone use this set up and if so can you recommend them? Geoff

  2. Hi Geoff- I would also like to hear some feedback on those. What has you thinking about that shaft?
  3. Hi
I have previously used graphite in a set of cally but they did not have the control of steel
The Steelfiber seems to offer the best of both worlds lighter high ball flight but with the control of steel, I current use Project X LZ ( Mid launch )
I have tried Steelfiber in PXG heads but really prefer the AP2’s
Just looking for some validation on how the shafts and heads perform together before going to my Titleist fitter ( it is not a shaft he keeps in stock)
    Hope that makes sense
    Geoff

I’ve been playing AP2 irons with graphite shafts for 4.5 years (300 rounds). Currently playing Recoil 82g shafts in them, which are terrific, but the iron faces are about done. I went to a Titleist Thurs event and tested new APs with a few different graphite shafts including the Aerotech Steelfiber 95g shaft. I was very impressed with that shaft and those will go into my next set of AP2s. Sorry but I have not hit the Aerotech 80.
  5. Thanks Dan
    Sounds like a good endorsement

I have the aerotech 95 R in a split set of AP 2's and AP3's. The reason I switched over was because I have torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders and the vibration of the steel shafts was bothering them. The only word that comes to mind when hitting them with the aerotechs is " butter". They are very consistent and have a nice high launch to them. Will not be going back to a steel shaft anytime soon.
