Swingweight TS2 Driver and Fairway

    I got fitted at club champion yesterday and the fitter recommended TS2 driver 45.5 inches and 3 wood 43 inches with Fujikura atmos tour spec blue 6 and 7 and D9 and D8 swingweights respectively. What is the standard swing weight of this makeup? As D9 and D8 seem incredibly high to me?

    45.5 is the standard length for the TS drivers. D9 is pretty high. Did the fitter add heavier weights during the fitting to get close to that during the fitting? If you were fit closer to D4, it may make the driver feel like a sledgehammer. Check back to see if you were fit at close to D9 and if it felt right for you, then go for it.

    Yeah I think I was fitted close to D9 but for some reason I’m weary of going that high. He suggested not going lower than D6 but is recommending D9.

    I think I was swinging close to D9, the fitter recommended not going lower than D6 but suggests D9. For some reason I’m weary but perhaps I’m just not familiar enough with the concept.

    I think it was close to D9, he suggested not going lower than D6 but recommends D9, I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around D9
