  1. Been playing the 716 AP1s for a while now. I’m a consistent 15 handi. Wondering if I can make a transition to 718 T-MB?

I went from AP1 to T-MB. When the new line of 718's came out I did a fitting. Thought I would be set up with AP1 or the new AP3. When we tried the T-MB, I couldn't put them down. Wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke so i scheduled a second fitting a few weeks later. Same thing, the T-MB numbers were great and the look and feel was more of a traditional blade which is my personal preference. Don't let your handicap number get in the way of what iron you play. Some people's handicaps are high because of poor iron play but others might struggle off the tee or have problems with their short game. If you are pretty solid with your irons, T-MB might be fine. They are a bit less forgiving on miss-hits than the AP1 but when struck right, fly high and feel good. Don't rely on info here, go do a fitting and compare for yourself. Try all models. Everyone one of us is a little different but Titleist has an iron for all of us.

Agree with Above! I am a 13 consistently and have a mixed bag with TMBs in it!
  4. Yep - Agree with all of the above
    And don't be afraid of a combo set - I've got AP2 (PW, 9, 8) AP3 (7, 6, 5) & T-MB (4 & 3).
Find a good, experienced Titleist fitter and trust to him & Trackman/GC data.

  5. I’ve been a Titleist fan forever. I game the T-mb 3-PW. As long and forgiving as any. Love the look. TS2 10.5 and 15* 3 wood. 818 3uti.
I pull a wedge or 3wood when I play. 14 clubs I buy new irons or woods as soon as they release. Titleist only. Played them all over the last 25 years.

  6. I’ve played blades for most of my life, but last year switched to the AP2s for a little more forgiveness since I don’t play everyday like high school or college. I’ve been struggling with wether to get long irons or hybrids and I have to say the T-MB long irons are the best of both world. I have the confidence and workability of playing an iron with the distance of the hybrid.
