I received my new SM8s about a month ago and the difference they’re making in my wedge play is incredible. I was playing SM5s and they were so worn out. So to see the difference in ball flight and spin is really fun to see. I love the feel and performance of the SM8. I love the clean design of these wedges as well. They look great in the bag next to my T100 irons. TT, if you are in need of new wedges don’t hold back on getting them! Your golf game will thank you and you’ll see immediate improvements in your wedge control. Thanks for another quality wedge, Mr. Vokey!

Looking great! Did you get them on the brushed steel finish?

I am looking into the SM8s and the new 'D' grind for my 56°. I've always been a fan of the 'M' grind, however, I am thinking about switching my 56° to D grind and my 60° to K grind.

Before I switch my SM6s, I'll get custom fit again for my wedges.

Yes they are the brushed steel finish. They look as good in person as they do online. I really like the K grind for my more lofted wedge.

I just got the SM8's in the black finish. 52deg F grind 12 bounce, and 58deg D grind 12 bounce. Love them. Been only using for them for about a week. Moved over from SM7's the same specs

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear they are performing well for you. I just got a new set of T200s and because of the strong lofts, I needed a 52 degree Vokey to fill the gap between my 48 degree T200 GW and the 56 degree Vokey I already had.

I got the SM8 52.08, and went ahead and changed out my 56 degree SM6 for a 56 degree SM8, M grind. And for soft bunker conditions, I picked up a 58 degree SM8 K grind. That club is primarily for my annual trip to Bandon which has very soft sand. I have tried it out and really like the extra bounce from the bunkers.

I ordered the 52 and 56 from the Vokey edge shop online as I have some custom measurements. Really neat process for the custom orders. The price covered some custom stamping so I have "BOOMER" on the 52 and "SOONER" on the 56, as I went to University of Oklahoma. Just got them today so will play them this weekend for first time.

Really like the new SM8s. Played two rounds with them. Couple of full shots from the fairway With the 52 degree were nice. Love the feel and ball flight.

I use the 56 for pretty much every shot around the greens. Hit some high pitches and chip and runs. Great feel and ball did what I wanted (except for a few user errors lol). I went back to the M grind with the new 56. Great grind for the firmer turf in Texas and the versatility on open face shots is awesome. The grind descriptions and Wedge Seletcor tool on the Titleist site are very helpful. I did not do a wedge fitting as I knew what I wanted and the specs since I just did an iron fitting.
