    Recently got a GT280 and wondering if I install a driver length shaft on it, weighing the pros and cons. Love feedback.....

    Someone can verify if that head uses a driver or fairway hosel adapter. The standard length is 43.5 inches, or 2 inches shorter than a standard Titleist driver. I’m curious, as well, if other GT-280 users have tried different shaft lengths. The shafts can be built for either driver or fairway, with the correct adapter and adjusted for overall length.

    If you have other driver/fairway shafts that fit your GT 280, try them. I have a 43" shaft in my GT280 but frequently have to go down an inch on the grip.

    I am changing my 280 to a driver length shaft. The adapter is a fairway type. Trued my buddies shaft in his 280 and picked up 10-15 yards with the driver length. Wonder why Titleist went with fairway length? MMM
