Would be good to know your driver numbers (trackman) so then you can determine if it's a swing issue or a club issue.

Do you have those?

The key to the 917 is to get fit (30 swings - 30 minutes) - rather than simply use the same setup from a 910-915 driver. Or to not just buy one off the rack. In the meantime, use some spray powder and check to see if you're hitting the sweet spot (above center). Then adjust the loft to 11.25 or 12 if you are. After that ...30 swings..

Well, we need a little more info. What was your previous driver? Did you get fitted for the 917 D2?

As for hitting the ball low and i'll shoot my 2 cents (i'm FAR from being a helper) but try lifting your left shoulder up a little at address.. . This should get you to hit up at the ball.. But again without seeing videos or pictures it's hard to tell.. You can always Google, I do when i'm having issues... TONS of stuff out there...

OR make an appt. with a PGA professional to help you out. I currently see one and it's the BEST money I've ever spent.

We can speculate all day about poor drives and hitting the ball low,but the quickest fix is to see a pga pro.
Worth the money when you are struggling or even when you are not.
