So see a PGA teacher/Instructor. It is very difficult to provide any assistance without seeing your stance, swing, etc. They are pros and well trained in correcting your problem. If you are serious about correcting it, find a pro in your area.

Those of us on this forum are loyalists just like yourself. There might be an instructor of two on here. But they need to see your "hit" the ball.

There are several things that can lead to a slice. You need to see an instructor who can analyze your swing and point you in the right direction.

Everyone has this issue every once in awhile, what i have found for myself, is using a stronger grip and depending on the driver you have the settings being adjusted could always help too, from what i have been told so if i am wrong someone please correct me, if you adjust the loft and increase ith from lets say 10.5 to 11.5 it will naturally close the face more at impact. if thats is an issue for you off the tee!

Adjusting the Surefit with more loft actually opens the face more. Like others here have said, slices can be grip related but more commonly driven by an over-the-top out to in swing path and a good instructor would be the best solution. Spend a little money now to avoid years of frustration ahead (as I know from experience).

Normally the slice is caused more by your grip and setup then your actual swing.. in my experience the number one problem is your left shoulder position which is facing too far left of your target!. This is caused by the natural reaction of most new players to have their right arm straighter and on top of their left arm which opens their shoulders to the Target line. Two ways to help. Soften your right elbow, that is let it be bent and closer to your body then your left elbow which should be fairly firm and straight but not rigid. Now from your address position just turn your head towards the Target and make sure you can see your left shoulder without turning your head to look at it. I also encourage you to drop your right foot back approximately an inch and a half to 2 in from the target line. This will not only help you get your left shoulder square it will make your back swing flexibility better.

Videos are ok, but they are not addressing your particular issues, by watching you swing and providing feedback. See a PGA pro. =)

As others have said, nothing can replace lessons. In the meantime, check out Mo Norman’s book. Great way to help understanding club face control.

For me the most influencial tip has just been to keep the head square and it is my central thought during my swing!

I have to second what Dale said. Spend time with an instructor and that will get you on the right path. I actually was in your boat and saw a teaching pro recommended by Big Chris and I was so impressed at how the instructor was able to identify a couple small things that made big differences in my ball flight.

There's a reason avid golfers rarely achieve greatness, we're too stubborn. Do it the right way, find a teacher, and stop asking random people for swing advice. I know scratch players who can't fix their own problems, much less anyone else's. The slice is an easy fix, but without seeing your angles and path, it's impossible to help you. Good Luck!

Try slowing down your hips in your downswing but maintaining speed in your arms. your body might have finished rotating before impact therefore causing the slice. you could try the rory drill too! it helped me quite abit

Alot of the time us amateurs.give up on finishing our swing. Make sure your chest is finishing at the target. Especially if your ball isn't just slicing but starting right of target line and slicing from there.

As others have commented, the most common reason for the slice is swing path. I corrected mine by ensuring that I drop my hands and not pulling them down in my swing. In doing so, understanding your tempo can also assist with your start line.

Although a coach is often everyone’s first comment, I found less success with them as they tried to adapt my swing to their beliefs. If you find a good one great, just make sure they are coaching you based on your needs. I’ve learned through feel and targeted videos. If you chose the YouTube University route or forum videos such as the Learning Lab, I’d recommend sticking to only a few people so processes don’t contradict each other.
