His search didn’t take long and today my boy Aiden hit his first hole in one. We had a tee time today at 12:30pm with an uncle from out of town and one local UNC who both wanted to play with Aiden as he works towards his preparation for his high school experience. Of course we had to host them at our favorite course, home course of Goose Creek. Our out of town uncle is super competitive and the previous day was challenging Aiden to see who would win and it was going toe to toe until we got to the 11th; par 3, with a front hole position, 119 to the front and about 128 to the hole, playing the whites. Aiden was the first to tee off and he hit a low liner headed straight for the hole, it died and hit about 15 yards short into the rough but had enough speed to cut through to the fringe and onto the green where it casually rolled in! It was electric and we all erupted into cheers, jumping, screaming and hugging each other! I picked him up and spun him around! What an amazing day!!! Aiden belongs to the Youth on Course foundation and is apart of Goose’s academy where he hopes to make the golf team at Eastvale’s Roosevelt High School in California. What a day to celebrate with family, I’m sure we’ll be talking about today for years to come.
