Hello everyone, My name is Christian, and on October 20, 2023, I became the first and only person to hit a hole in one in DFP classic tournament's history. The DFP classic is a local south Florida tournament that started about 8 years ago to raise money for charity. This was my second year playing in the tournament. Anyhow, I'd like to believe this shot was pure skill, but let's be real, there was a ton of luck involved considering the factors. I have always been a sub-90 golfer, so I know my way around the course pretty fluidly, but to hit a hole in one the way I did, was pretty unlikely. The ball went straight from the tee to the hole with zero bounce and zero roll. Anyhow, I just wanted to share the experience with you all, and I hope to hit another someday in the future. PS: I won the closest to the pin competition which entailed free entry to the tournament for life!
