I was visiting my hometown Winnipeg Manitoba and decided to play a round of golf with some old friends. It was a casual game that led to many beers and shots during the front 9. By the start of the tenth hole I noticed that the par 3 had a bridge that I had to make it over so I decided to tee up really high and hope for the best. When I hit my shot, the sun was in my eyes so I asked my group to watch my ball for me. I didn't even see it land and went straight to going to the shade to sit down and sip on my beer. As my group was watching, one of my friends came to me and said "uhhh... I think that went in". In disbelief, I sarcastically said "yeah ok LOL". My other friend then came to me and said, "I hate you right now, but seriously I think it went in". Still in disbelief we drove over to the green and my third friend went to search the green. Nothing had been seen so he checked the pocket. I still remember his face as he became pale and said "You LUCKY MF". The fact is I am a very casual golfer, and the guys I went with play maybe 2-3 times a week for 13 years. The look of defeat from my friends to see their very casual golfer friend get a feat that only comes rarely if not at all was priceless.
