Hello contemplating on going to the spike less shoe and looking at what’s on the market . Has anyone tried these?

They are very comfortable, but unless you like replacing shoes often, get a pair with replaceable spikes.

Hey Lefty
I have some FJ spikeless, I have no problem with the spikeless part. FJ 10.5 is perfect length for my foot, regular is a smidgeon too tight(after a round I am ready to them off), wide is way way too wide, I have the laces pulled as tight as they will go and my foot still slides around inside the shoe.
I haven't tried the spikeless in wet/muddy conditions, I'd think that is where you would tell a difference.

I've heard from many customers who mentioned that other brand who's known for their "spikeless"/street, shoes; are comfortable, yes, BUT, 1) 99% of them AREN'T waterPROOF, 2) Try standing on a steep slope when its raining and they're nowhere near as stable as a shoe with spikes. Also, many of them even have warnings with the shoes that state the things I listed above.

Lefty,
Go to the FootJoy website and click on community, click on forums and click on shoes. Either type in your question or scroll through the number of topics under shoes. Right now there are several relating to spikeless shoes for various uses.

Great shoes! I have a pair and they are nice. They are lower to the ground then the rest..... I think.

I'd kill for the chance to wear real spikes one last time, just to hear to absolutely cool sound that they make on hard surfaces. But I don't think there is a single golf course in the State of Minnesota that would permit them. What memories!
Option I'd point out involves Footjoy's BOA lacing system. I have some neuropathy in my feet and it is helpful to have my shoes laced nice and tight from toe to ankle. Although I've got a good pair of FJ laces, my favorites are FJ Icons with the BOA lacing system. And even better I understand that now FJ offers them at several different price points. All the better!
