I just wanted to share with everyone my experience while attending the Short Game Clinic on Friday 23rd May 2025.

Firstly a massive thank you to everyone at Titleist especially Will Sutton for making these days such fun and very informative events.

So after a 40 minute drive from Peterborough we arrived to a grand old building steeped in History.

On arrive we were greeted by the Titleist team for breakfast and mingled with other players who had attended.

After a quick registration and being handed a lovely selection of TT goodies, we were split in groups for a morning session of eduction.

We had 3 stations to visit, A Scotty Cameron putter station which was showcasing the new special select putters , A Vokey wedge area around the new practice area were we was giving a insight into different grinds and lofts and the process behind fitting them for Tour Players and amateur golfers while also getting some expect advise from Will & Red and there knowledge was second to none.

While on the 3rd station we had teaching pro Alex Buckner giving the groups wedge lessons and advise about playing different shots around the green and also his simple but direct messages were a game changer for most of us.

After, we had a light lunch before teeing it up on the John O Gaunt Golf course which was looking rather green considering the hot weather we’ve had. The course was in pristine condition from the greens tee boxes fairways to the aprons and fridge. The course really is a gem and would highly recommend a visit.

After the golf it was dinner and presentation time, winners received TT hats, headcovers, plus a TT stand bag and the overall winner picking up a customer fit experience for 3 new Vokey wedges and a 1 hour lesson with Alex Buckner which is a pretty cool prize to win.

After a cold beer/soft drink it was time to say our fairwell’s to everyone. It was so nice to see so many other new people to this event but a good time to catch up with old friends who I’ve met in the past at TT events.

I reiterate if you have never attended a TT day you really are missing out. It’s such a great way to get to meet new people and speak to expert fitters from Titleist.

Massive thank you again to all the staff at Titleist for such a great day.

    Regards

    Simon Worsfold

    Thanks for the write up.
This was my first Team Titleist event and I was blown away by the whole experience.
Really well organised with loads of attention to detail. The three stations you mention were all great and gave top insights and tips. Good to get my hands on such a wide range of Scotty putters (and also some very famous tour wedges).
I agree with your assessment of the course too; I thought it was in great condition.
I will keep my eyes out for future events.
    Thanks Team Titleist!

    Hi Michael,

Glad you enjoyed your first TT day and enjoyed the experience.

These days really are a great way to meet new people and learn such much about the brand and also get some really good information & feedback from the staff.

I don’t actually think we got to meet on the day but find me on the TT Community page or a Facebook group and reach out.

I have a WhatsApp group for TT that you may like to be part of.

Till our paths cross again enjoy your day and see you soon.

Sounds (& looks) like a great day! - Bit gutted as by the time I'd got work commitments sorted I only managed to get on the waiting list so missed out this time. Hopefully another TT short game clinic and round another time
