  1. Scratch handicap and can hit all the shots around the green. Currently playing cally Jaws Raw 54-10 and 60-10 J grind. I think these are very good and have near full confidence in them. However, the Opus line doesn’t cut it plus Jaws Raw getting harder to find as phased out. Have previously used the 54-12D- liked it from the sand, but a bit cumbersome on chips. Also used the 60-4L and while superb on delicate chips, felt I needed more bounce from the fairway (hence Jaws Raw 60-10J). Located in the Mid Atlantic region. By the way, I can be steep or shallow, depending on the shot at hand. I like to play pitches with a square face and back in my stance so I can get the ball rolling. FWIW- I like the notched out leading edge of the cally 54-10S and 60-10J. Sort of allows you to chunk it without much loss of distance or control. Be interested in the community’s thoughts.

Maybe try the 54 Vokey with less bounce, say a 10 or so. 12 bounce is a lot around the greens, IMO. I get your point, there's a lot of thought and tinkering with wedges among better players, and truth be told, it's super hard to settle on a system and stick with it. If you like the Jaws 60-10J, sounds like the 10 bounce is comfortable. Also, can't always bank on the bounce being what is stamped on the club. These are hand ground, but mistakes do happen.

J grind is kind of unique. Vokey Wedgeworks K* grind is similar... 8 degrees of bounce with some leading edge and trailing edge relief. M or V grinds are solid options too.

I have a 54-14F that I bent to 52 and it works on a wide variety of lies, Also play a Wedgeworks 58V set to 56. 60-06K works on a wide variety of lies. I'm a bit of a tinkerer. My wedge lofts are 46-52-56-64. I'm currently pairing my 60-06K (58*) with a 58-12D for courses like Torrey Pines. For general purpose use, I'm playing a 58V set to 56*.

The attached image shows a 58-12D and 60-06K (58*). In my bag I have a 48-10F (46*), 54-14F (52*), 58V (56*). 54-14F set to 52* hits from a wide variety of conditions. 58V set to 56* is more versatile vs 56-08M, mainly because it is better in softer sand and still works on hard lies. The Cally "Phil 64" has been in my bag since 2018. The D and low-K would be for courses like Torrey Pines.
