  1. Leaning toward getting raw finish on my new set, are there any cons to the raw finish. I really like the rusted look, was wondering from people who have raw. Does the rust get on the towel after you wipe, do the grooves wear out faster?

I prefer raw finishes, but I really try not to let them oxidize. I keep the faces clean and dry after each shot, and they get wiped off thoroughly after each round.

One thing I like about the raw finish is that, if I want to customize the grind a bit, I don't have any worries about a finish peeling off later. I have had some chrome finishes start to peel after grinding through it. It is easy to get cut as the layer can be very sharp, too!

I would think the grooves should stay sharp as long as the other finish wedges would, as all pieces should get the same heat treatment (I am not sure what that process is, actually). And, even if not, guess what? Titleist will have more wedges to purchase!
