I recently created a new thread tesing the left dot vs. the current left dash if anyone is interested on my testing.
  3. I bought these when they came out but have been reluctant to really try them. I'm afraid I will really like them and will not be able to get more if needed.

Years ago, Titleist asked me if I wanted to try to find some members who would be interested in a Tour Level Ball Fitting at the club where I was employed. A couple of the members said they found Pro V1s to spin too much with short irons and/or would balloon a bit with knock downs. I was with the ball fitting professional when we took each player through the process, even taking one member out to a par 5 so he could hit some shorter wedges to a green with back-to-front slope so we could see how the balls compared. Definitely saw less spin with the Left Dot than the Pro V1, but it was incremental (not unexpected) and did not yield 'ripping back' shots with the full swing 9 irons and wedges on the next hole, a short par 3 for one golfer. For the second golfer, the Track Man spin numbers, and the ball flight, showed the Left Dot reduced the tendency to balloon on knock downs, so that was a success as well.

Both golfers were able to purchase the balls after the fitting (I think it might even have been a buy 3, get 1 free special price) and replenish stock the next year. As I no longer work at that club, I am not sure whether they still play the ball or have been able to source it through the golf shop.
