I do alternate covers, but there are a few that I won't take to the course.

I changed both. I don’t like the Velcro covers so I had a custom magnetic one made. I change grips for performance and feel.

I'm really on the fence about changing the grip on mine....it's still the original that I try to maintain some tackiness with through cleaning and even a spray from time-to-time. But I just like the idea that it's the original grip after all these years.

Headcover is a different story. The velcro on the original is starting to lose its holding ability and sometimes comes loose when my cart hits a bump. So I switched it out this year for a magnetic closure option.

I am a big fan of the Pistolini grip and have it on the putters I rotate through. I also rotate headcovers on a regular basis. My current one is one I picked up at the Gallery this year that is the blue with the dancing dogs.

I put the Large Matador grips on most of my SC putters. (x3 and counting) They just seem to work for me, I hold the headcovers back from the course and use after market ones (usually funny) so people don't know what I have in the bag, and keeps the OG headcovers nice.

Yes. And Yes. I've changed grips on my regular gamer SC as well as with my previous SC putters. I also change my putter cover with regularity. I likely only use the same SC cover 2 or 3 rounds consecutively before reaching for a different one. I like to change it up. I've got a bunch of covers and like using each of them when I can and where possible. My regular playing partners are often looking to see if I've changed covers and which one I've chosen. Its fun and is always a good conversation topic.

Yes, I tend to rotate my headcovers with my putter as well as adjust grips keeping mind that I may change the swingweight since each grip weighs differently.

I do not change HC these days. Back when I was a Scotty member I would get all the new covers and put them on, then they would find their way to "walk away". That was back before I was a CC member and was just playing munis so I attribute some of that to that.

Grips though, I have large hands and have changed every grip on every club (play Winn oversize on all 13 clubs). Playing the SS Flatso 1.0 on my Phantom 5 and love it.

I have changed out the original cover so it doesn't get stolen! And of course the one I changed it from (TPC Sawgrass) got taken while I was in Scottsdale. :(

I normally change the grip and the cover . The grip that i have on all my gamersis the mid matador. I like to alternate the covers,depending on how I feel that day.

they all get Baby T now, and I never use the stock HC. Too many good Cameron options to use stock.

I like GolfPride grips and am now using the putter grips. Love the Pistol grip. Their oversize fit my hands nicely. Whenever I get a new SC putter, I wlay change out the grip.

I use the Super Stroke 2.0 grip. I picked up an Arnold Palmer generic headcover with a magnetic closure at Golf Galaxy. Looks pretty cool with all the things the King was known for, printed on the cover. The umbrella, the tractor, the cardigan sweater, the jet and the "Arnold Palmer" drink.

I usually switch the grip when I buy a new Scotty to the mid size Matador. For headcovers, I probably have too many. I have several blade ones still in plastic, and I have been using a Phantom 11.5 for the last 2 years, so now I have several mallett covers as well. I like the speed shop ones, and i keep checking e bay when I probably shouldn't. I got a great deal on a mallett "show time" cover a couple months ago, and I have been using that. I still have the original Phantom cover it I ever go to sell it. The way I have putted this year, it is staying in the bag for a while, however.

I am partial to the Lamkin Deep Etch putter grip, red preferred, but I don't know if this will be phased out now that Lamkin was bought by another company. What I don't like about the Matador or pistolero grips is how quickly they get slick. Just when I start to get really comfortable, they lose the feel I wanted with them, and no matter how much care I use, I can never get a new grip on exactly as the old one was positioned.

Now, I try to get the Lamkin grip on as soon as I make the decision to game the putter, and I don't have to worry about it losing tackiness at the end of the season.

Picked up a couple of mature putters recently. Currently I have a 35 “ Phantom 5 with a Golf Pride midsize pistol grip that I really like. Planning on going down to the Pinehurst Shop in a couple of weeks to check out what types of SC grips might work for me. It is hard to judge by what is posted on the website. For the recently acquired 35” Futura 6M I’d like to find a midsize pistol grip. For the 38” DB Futura 7M would like to find a longer midsize grip.

As for headcovers, whatever goes in the bag gets to wear my Seabrook Island Club mallet cover. This honor is what all the putters in my trunk seek. The nonstarters get the stock headcovers or one from another club.

I switch out the SC head over and go with something related to a past golf trip. I have switched out the original grip on a few occasions to try various SuperStroke options but ended up going back to a SC. Just got a new Fastback with a mid Matador grip.

Do you find the mid Matador to be about the same size as a SuperStroke 2.0? Do you know if the SC Pistolero style midsize grips are about the same size? Thanks

I change both the headcover and the grip periodically. I usually replace my grip when I do a Scotty Cameron Gallery visit in Encinitas and change the headcover every year with one from the Club Cameron Club. Love the Scotty stuff.

I swapped the headcover on my Phantom 9 because I was heading to Vegas to visit a buddy for my 40th and just really loved this one.

As for the grip, I pulled the original and added three wraps since I prefer a slightly bigger grip. Scotty grips are also pretty hard to come by in Canada, so this worked out perfectly.
