I got the SM10's earlier this year, in January. After using them all golf season all I can say is I love them. They have been great. Wish I could say my overall game was as good my SM10's.

At least use the Titleist on line wedge fitting tool. It is a start.

Don’t get hung up on the magic 4 degrees of loft. A set 48 iron will always travel further than a 48 degree Vokey. There is no empiric method to get the right degrees for distance gapping. After the set PW, we will carry 2-4 more clubs/wedges. Same with the pro bags. There are no wrong answers. A short game fitting with how you currently hit your clubs will guide to a better combination for you. What may work well for anyone of us might be awful for you.

Even getting SM -10’s instead of waiting to next spring for the 11’s will be a vast improvement over the time-tested well used old wedges.

Just get the sm10. If you practice/play enough then you will need to replace it around the time that the new sm11 comes out.
  4. Are the SM10s and SM9s that different?

Life changing? No. Better players will see a lower ball flight and no loss of spin.
In my case, I don’t use the stock wedge shaft and I’m LH. So to get new fresh groves, I can still order SM-10. Can’t order SM-9.

Current price reduction for SM10's and a credit voucher burning a hole in my pocket
    - plus reality that may game should hopefully benefit from new wedges as current SM8 56 & 60 definitely wearing out & I probably won't see a difference in my game re SM10 v SM11.
I've gone ahead and ordered SM10's now. Will be a welcome Christmas present ;-)

I have an event that will include an SM-11 wedge early next year. So I ordered 2 10’s as the 11’s may well reach $199+ Our season ends this weekend so I’m shopping for next year. I already have had grinds recommended so I can order without a dealer fitting.

After commenting earlier, I went ahead and ordered the SM10 at the discount. Was able to order to my other wedge specs (Modus 3 stiff, 1/2" over, and 2 degrees flat). Went from a 58D SM9 to a 58M SM10. Just spent a week in Palm Springs and am pleasantly surprised. More versatile around the greens, and nothing like playing with fresh grooves.

Hoping for some SM11 news soon. Imagine it’ll be sometime in January (PGA Show maybe).

Also hoping TT members can get advanced fits before public release; as need to replace my SM9s!
